First Gift Certificate Tag- Sally

Sally was one of two people at the MiGO (Michigan Geocaching Organization) Winter Social to win a design services gift certificate in the silent auction. She jumped on a design immediately, which takes after one of her favorite pictures and incorporates her love of a simple white background and bold text.

Winter Social Was A Hit!

Pathtags, Pathtags Everywhere!

Several new finished tags have been posted, so don't forget to check out the Sold page and see which tags you'd like to trade for! Check out the MiGO lighthouse fundraiser tag for sale at The Geocoin Store. When you buy a twenty pack for $20 MiGO (the Michigan Geocaching Organization) gets $5. Also, next Saturday is the annual MiGO Winter Social and gift certificates for my pathtag services will be up for auction. These gift certificates are a DONATION to MiGO, and the only thing that the winners will owe me is two tags for the portfolio. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and every bid helps support local caching events!! BID EARLY, BID OFTEN!!

MiGO Winter Social

Here in Michigan we're having our yearly MiGO (Michigan Geocaching Organization) winter social. This year it is being held in Flint, on February 19th. Among other things, the winter social includes a silent auction. This is one of the biggest fundraisers of the year for MiGO and they are looking for donations. So what does this have to do with this blog? Well I will be donating gift certificates for pathtag design services! They will be good for EITHER custom work OR pre-made designs with no charge from me except for two finished tags for the portfolio. Bid early, bid often!

How was your holiday?

I hope everyone has recovered from the holidays, family, and too much food! For me, another birthday has also just passed, school is about to re-start, and I made the deans list to boot! For new-year's-eve there was a great geocaching party (thanks Tiki and family) and my resolution is to clean and organize the bedroom. There is all year to do it, right? What was your new-year's resolution? Tell me in the comments section.

MiGO Pathtag Design

YAY! Not to toot my own horn, but this tag is the winning design for the MiGO (Michigan Geocaching Organization) pathatg fundraiser! This tag will soon be available in the pathtag store in (I believe) packs of 20, and all proceeds will go to help MiGO. As a proud member I'm honored to have my design chosen and encourage everyone to buy a pack!!

Alphonse Mucha, Remember Him?

Do you recall back over the summer I began a series of tags based on the Art-Deco works of Alphonse Mucha? Well finals are over for the semester so I once again have time to work on those. Two more have been posted under the Famous Artists page, with more to come.

So what are you doing for the holidays?

Presumably you're all buying pathtags for the holidays, but what kind? I'm curious to know if you celebrate the season (winter, not the holidays), the holidays from a religious standpoint, the holidays from a secular standpoint, family, or with another personal tag? Instead of making another poll, I would like to hear straight from you, so please post in the comments section below! Seriously, don't be shy. I want to hear from you!

Still here... It's been a busy time!

Hello dear readers, sorry for such an extended absence! I would like to report that my surgery has healed nicely (even if I don't like the way my bellybutton was stitched back together) and that my new roommate is settling nicely into the apartment. Midterms also went better than expected. In the meantime, a large number of pathtags are in the works. My local geocaching group has two contests in the works, plus customer requests. It seems, through your kind word of mouth, that I have become known for creating tags from pictures, both people and pets! I love it and thank you.

Over the Thanksgiving break I will be out of town, visiting family, but will try to get more designs pre-made in the meantime. If you have any suggestions or requests please let me know in the comments section.

Emergency Surgery

I've had an emergency appendectomy (about 8 hours between showing up in the emergency room and laying on an operating table!), and am now on the mend. Apologies for any delays.
