Tags Sold (2010-12)

Nomad commissioned this as a surprise for his wife, who is a HUGE Starsky and Hutch fan.  It is based off of a rough sketch he provided.  I am told that she was more than excited to receive these tags for her birthday.

This is a tag I'm sharing with a friend.  It seems very popular for trading and a re-order will be needed soon!

Boyfriend/ Girlfriend caching duo k0rpl and Greyhounder came together for this one for Midwest Geobash 2010.

Another tag for Midwest Geobash 2010.  I'm particularly excited about how this one turned out in blueprinting!  (PS, The green is super bright, but it gives some POP!)

StampTeacher snapped this one up quickly.

This was one of my favorites to work on.  I call it "Cubist Count Seated", for TheVidas for the art spoof club.  It is based on Picasso's "Cubist Lady Seated" and is Count Von Count from Sesame Street.

This one is in the works for my friend, cohort, and keeper of the other half of my brain, Erin.

A personal tag for local geocacher, Homebru.

This tag is also for Homebru, in conjunction with his wife Sudsy.  Can you guess what their other hobby is? :)  We went back and forth about the plating for this one.  It was a tough choice.

It seems Homebru and Sudsy were so happy with the first two designs I did earlier this summer that Sudsy asked me to do a tag just for her.  Its a lady frog climbing up a home-brewed beer bottle.

This one is to raise awareness about donating blood.  One donation could save the lives of 3 people!

Randbo and wife snagged this design from the premade selection.  It seems kaleidoscopes are a passion of theirs.

The second tag for Randbo, and a custom design.  He is the wood-working bee and his wife is the butterfly, I am told.

A tag commemorating the life of a customer's sister.  This was created from a picture on the memorial card.

PrincessDiala snagged this cute Halloween Kitty from the premade designs.

This one for FRANKandPEGGY was from the premade designs.

Sally told me she wanted a stick figure lady and a white background.  Her plus two, Quinn and Jake, are here also!

The Periwinkles wanted a sleek and simple ammo-can of gold at the end of the rainbow.  Tadaa!

Steve and Kathy were married in a grove of maple trees.  This tag was part 1 of an anniversary surprise.  It uses half raised metal under translucent for many of the leaves.  I've received the final results of this tag, and not to brag but if you get a chance to trade for this one go for it!

Part 2 of Steve's anniversary surprise is this new signature tag.  He gave me several older family pictures and this portrait tag in geocaching colors is the result.

Since thevidas are local cachers and friends of mine I had terrible trouble keeping this all a secret from Kathy and the kids at events.  In the end it all went off without a hitch!

This isn't a pathtag, but a logo I was asked to do for the winners of our yearly "Best of Lansing" series.  These winners were voted on by other local cachers, so if you're in the area go check them out.

This tag was custom commissioned by PrincessDiala, and is probably what Christmas looks like in Australia.  Santa and a kangaroo on the beach, a surfing-roo, and the water is glittery!

Vel, of Graywolf5, wanted a signature tag.

Vel also wanted to immortalize her dog Mickie in glittery pathtag goodness!  This was done from a series of pictures she sent me, and Mickie 's fur is filled with a peachy glitter color.

I've had this one sitting back for almost a year, just waiting for glitter.  The idea for this tag comes straight from a picture I took of my younger cat's eyes.

This tag was the winner of the MiGO (Michigan Geocaching Organization) winter 2010 pathtag design contest.  It will be sold in the pathtag store and proceeds will help MiGO fund all the great activities that they do!

Vickie decided to surprise Diane with this tag done in raised copper plating.

The periwinkle ladies also asked me to memorialize their last mortgage payment.  Congratulations to them!

The two cats of team MiTuCats.  Can you tell what state they're from?

Sally was one of two lucky people at the MiGO Winter Social to win a design services gift certificate in the silent auction.  This design is what she used it for!

Team Geognarles was the second one to win a design services gift certificate in the silent auction at the MiGO Winter Social.  This is their mascot, Gnarles, and their camper-truck.

The Goldfinch-es are all set for MWGB 2011.

This is the newest version of the Periwinkle's "Any Means Possible" tag.

The Challenge-Challenge is a cache where one must find 25 challenge caches.  (Not to be confused with the new "go somewhere, do something" challenges).  Are you up to the task?

This is what the Periwinkle128 ladies look like zipping from cache to cache in their big blue Chevy.  All smiles!

This tag is a challenge reward.  Find all the caches to claim this tag!

This is my personal tag for MWGB 2011.  I'd like to thank the pathtag.com crew for their amazing turnaround on this one, because I ordered it quite late but they still had it produced in time for the bash.

LizardSally loves greyhounds.  If the Mona Lisa were a greyhound, this is what she would look like.

This was commissioned by husband and wife team CCCBlack.

This is for a Veterans Day flash mob in the Lansing, MI area.

Debbie snapped Cinderella up for the Disney Club.

Kirsten (ladybug_019) snagged this spooky kitty in time for Halloween.

Midge works in a garden and wanted a tag of her peeking over the flowers and looking a little cartoon-ish and whimsical.

September will mark the 40th wedding anniversary for Team Goldfinch.  Congratulations to them!

Homebru and Sudsy are snow-birds, so these two tags represent their winter ways.

And according to Sudsy, just because you have individual tags doesn't mean you should pass up a team tag as well!

For the Japanese Manhole collection, Cliff's Notes adds this blimp from Okegawa.  The Japanese on the bottom (I'm told) means 'slow' or 'leisurely'.

This year's logo for the "Best of Lansing" series, as voted on by other local cachers.  If you're in the area don't forget to go caching.

My personal tag for the Japanese Manhole Series will glow!  I was drawn to the tiger in this manhole, but in finding more information I learned that Kamaishi City was one of the harbor towns devastitated by the 2011 tsunami.  While the city's evacuation plan was very effective, one can only guess if this manhole still exists today.

These cute frogs were on the pre-made pages, and produced by team GAYLAR (Gayle and Larry).

Happy Halloween from Entwined55 and DE_Cryptoman.  This scary kitty is from the pre-made designs page.

The gifts of the season should all come wrapped in ammo cans!  This tag is for Jim of CoinBoss, who hopefully agrees.

Stained glass is always beautiful!  Find CoinBoss to trade for this jewel of a tag.

This surprise design was a Christmas 2011 gift from one member of Tisket-Tasket to the other.

Find ladybug_019 for this glittery gem.  I believe it will be her addition to the Pathtag Exchange (but don't quote me on that).

This is the "spring" edition of TheAllenCachers tag series.  It's a trillium flower against a translucent green, vine covered forest floor!

Home base may be Michigan, but their allegiance is also to Texas for team PJ2E.

PJ2E also loves IBM, which is represented in the team's classic colors.

Sally (salplus2) is thinking of doing a series of her favorite birds.  The first installment is a chickadee.

My dad and brother are both Eagle Scouts.  Dad is also Asst. District Commissioner for the Eastern District of Chickasaw Counsel.  He is a doctor by profession, and wanted a tag he could pass out to promote scouting as well as give people a way to contact him, so the code on the back is actually his office phone number!  (Area code 901)

Don't be a zombie... Geocaching is the cure!!  Find ChevyJim for this one.

Find Team D_O_N_A for this Elvis tribute from the pre-made pages!

Rebecca got this tag in honor of her daughter who caches under the name geob3a and loves butterflies.

The yearly logo update for the "Best of Lansing" series, as voted on by other local cachers.  Have you cached Lansing, Michigan?

Kitties for entwine55!  I know one of my cats will climb anything you give him.

Check out the Sycamore Inn in West Virginia if you get a chance.

Nellc is a quilter with a love of both colors and caching.  Find her for this one!

I'm told that occasionally the setting sun reflects off the side of buildings in downtown Boston can be overshadowed by a rising full moon.  GPSCOUTS even has a multi part event to celebrate it!
