Glitter

Glitter is officially on offer at Pathtags.com!  Its a once a year offer, and if you miss it now you'll have to either do without or wait until next year.  Any tags with glitter can ALWAYS be refilled with the same glitter, at any time of the year, so lock it in now!!   YAY GLITTER!  (I'm a bit of a Magpie with the shiny... but isn't that part of why we all love pathtags?)

Oh my goodness its getting busy!

Well I guess the title says it all.  Don't forget to order Christmas designs early (and often!) to have them approved and shipped in time for the holidays.  Remember as a freelance designer this helps pay the bills, but my day job is as a photographer, and the Christmas rush at work has officially begun!  Also, midterms...  Because if you're going to spend 5 years working as a photographer in a town with an amazing photography degree, you may as well take advantage of it.

With all that going on, Pathtag designing is always in full swing here, and I check email regularly.  Thank you everyone for making the "SOLD" page explode, and once I get some spare time I'll try to get that more organized.

PS-- The next big pre made set in design production is OWLS!  Also, I'd like to hear what yall think for potential holiday designs.  Feel free to leave responses and comments on this post.

My personal tags, and eBay

I hate posting anything but encouraging news,  new designs, etc, BUT...
It was brought to my attention that one of my personal tags, "CachingKitty & SisterElwood- RETIRED" (tag 12967) is currently up for auction on eBay, despite the profile very clearly stating that it is NOT to be sold, as well as a polite email sent to the seller reminding them of this fact and asking that it be voluntarily removed.  I am now asking all you kind pathtag-ers not to bid on it, and am currently working to have the listing removed, because as an artist I live by the saying "If you do not protect your intellectual artwork rights, you have no intellectual artwork".  While it may seem small to many, it is problems like these which impact working artists around the world, myself included.

Now let me be clear that I am referring to only my personal tags here, because as a customer you are free to do whatever you choose with the designs I create for you, outside of any agreement we have made.

Halloween and Glow Reminder

Just a reminder that while glow may be available from now through the end of October, you only have about a week to approve designs in time for Halloween!  (2 months and counting until the Christmas deadline. *hint*hint*)  Check out the "Holidays" page for a number of pre-made designs, and don't forget that PERSONALIZATION IS ALWAYS FREE!

Status updates on tags and pages

Thanks to everyone who took advantage of the $5 design discount.  I've updated the "Sold" page with several designs which have been claimed, as well as added new designs to their respective pages, so check them all out!  If there is anything you (any of you!) think should make a nice pre-made design  please feel free to suggest it, and remember I'm always happy to answer questions and negotiate prices.

MWGB was a blast!

Dewy Decimal Cache

A bunch of us got together to have a cache-a-thon, and made it from south of Toledo, OH to just north of Monroe, MI.  In two days we put in about 22 hours, and although that means we missed a lot of the official events, we still had more fun than should be allowed.  We even managed to find a few specialty caches, like an earthcache that required us to dig for our own fossils, a webcam cache, and a dewy decimal cache!  Spending the day(s) caching with Vonnie (vonjoekasey), Nick (magtfplanner) and Jeff (inxplicablfate) were amazing and the real world just isn't as much fun!!

MWGB 2011 Time!

Its time to publish the yearly check list for MidWest Geobash.  This year the fun takes place July 28th through 31st at the Fulton County Fairgrounds in Wauseon, OH.  Please remember that the bash is in an Emerald Ash Borer Zone, so DO NOT BRING FIREWOOD!

The bird of choice this year is the pelican, and it will be a beach bash theme!  Don't forget that after 10 PM the bond fires turn into Area-51, and if you're one for drinking, or just a lightweight (like I am) then don't forget to bring a few hangover cures as well.
